A group of academics and students from the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Utrecht University in the Netherlands visited our institute on Wednesday, June 5. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhan Afacan, the deputy manager of the institute, welcomed the group and briefed them about Türkiye’s higher education system, Marmara University and the Institute of the Middle East and Islamic Countries. He then presented a talk entitled “Islam and Politics in Iran and Türkiye”.
